Stopping cold sores
I’ve got a cold sore and i reallllllllllyyyyyyyyyy don’t need to have one now. But then again I don’t want one EVER! Who does? No one. So here’s a couple of tips I got from watchnig youtube tutorials and stuff online. The sources are listed at the bottom of the page. But please, be a nice person and read my article first T_T.
1.Apple cider vinager
Dab a cotton ball into some of the apple cier vinager and hold over the cold sore for 20 minutes. You can do this 2 times a day if you’d like.
Take a slice of garlic and hold it there for 20 minutes. Repeat 3 times a day.
This not only works on cold sores but on pimples too! HOW CONVINIENT!!! I’m trying this right now actually and it’s working. Just put a little bit of toothpaste on the sore or on the pimple and leave for a couple of hours before washing it off. Or you can put it on right before you go to bed then wash it off in the morning.
soak some tissue paper in hot water and put it over the cold sore until the tissue cools. Repeat this 5 times a day.
5.(One of the most common ones) An Ice cube
Put an ice cube in a small wash cloth and put it over the sore to reduce the swelling.
Mix water and some baking soda until its a thick looking paste. Cover the cold sore one time a day until the sore dissapears.
7. Tobasco sause
Put some tobasco sause onto a q-tip and hold it up to the cold sore.
8. (something every house has) Salt
Soak 4 tablespoons of salt in half a glass of hot water. Take a cotton ball, and soak in the liquid and put over the sore. Do this 3 times daily.
I’m going to try lemon juice, an orange, soda, viniger, grapefruit and cilantro and garlic in water.
Now I know this is going to sound stupid but I’m going to trythem all in one day. So I’ll determine which one works better. Come back in about 3-5 days and I’ll try and have a post up about which one I think works the best.
Last night I tried the toothpaste trick on my skin and on the cold sore and on the cold sore it didn’t hurt but on my skin after a few hours it began to burn and now the skin there is REALLY sensative. Just telling you, but I also put it on other parts of my face and it didn’t hurt so maybe it’s just that spot. But I’m just telling you so I don’t get sued or anything.
