Shopping stores to hit and summer tips

Summer Summer Summer. Frankly I love the idea of summer for 2 things, Summer vaca and buying summer clothes and then back to school clothes. Usually over summer I spend time with friends and just chill. In the first two weeks of my summer vaca I go out to the mall and go shopping for cool summer clothes whether it be a neon yellow tee shirt from Love Culture or a pair of floral oxfords from Forever21 I go shopping and change my style up every time. During back to school though, I shop for more crazy things because then my friends can see all the crazy things I buy that make me me. :) I’m going to tell you what stores I hit up during summer and what I pair with what.

Summer looks:

Summer to me is about barbaques, spending time with friends and family, going exploring, doing stupid things and trying something new which includes fashion trends and tips. The colors I think of for summer are colors like whites, reds, blues, purples, and greens. Forget about the blacks and darker colors, who wants to wear black outside in the heat? No one does.

Tip 1: Don’t wear dark colors when it’s hot out.

     -Why?: Dark colors absorb heat and when you get hotter we all know what that means; we SWEAT. No one likes that.

Tip 2: Wear light colors like white and yellow

     -Why?: Lights colors such as white reflect heat which means a little less sweat and heat.

Crazy colors and patterns. Go on and mix patterns with patterns and mixing purple and yellow and blue in one outfit. It’s going to keep you interesting and spontaneous. It’s true what they say, color DOES affect your mood. So why wear something that makes you feel sad and moopy? Big logo shirts also apply for this as well so something like a Paramore or a band shirt is going to look amazing with a crazy pattern skirt.

Charm bracelets. Are they in or out? I say in. Why? Simple. They are the lightest piece of jewelry you can wear in summer. They also let you express yourself on a bracelet. How cool is that?

Natural make-up. Don’t go globbing on your make-up girls. Summer is about taking a break from getting glammed up. Only put on your best make-up for parties and the what not. IF you’re going to wear make-up though, go for the natural beachy look. I’m not saying go out and get a spray tan, you live on a planet where there is sun outside. Go out and tan WITH SUNSCREEN PLEASE!!!!  But what i’m trying to say is, a little foundation and a light gold or metallic shimmer on the eye lid and lip gloss is all you need for summer make-up.

Depending on what store or website has what, I really don’t stick to one store or just a couple. I shop EVERYWHERE! I’m all over the place because if a store looks interesting, I will go in and there is always something I have to get. Here are most of the stores I shop at and websites.
